Since this year Arne De Belser and Nick play together, breeding the young pigeons only from the stock pigeons of Johan De Belser. After three years of playing on their own, Arne is now taking the next step together with Nick, which immediately results in a nice collaboration. This season it resulted in the title of first provincial champion Great Middle Distance Young Pigeons with the 1st and 2nd signed pigeon, and nationally even a 6th place.
Strong Season for “209” – a new permanent fixture
A striking pigeon within the team was without a doubt “BE 24-6095209″, the first signed. He participated in the national flights five times, of which he won a prize four times. In the small middle distance, the 209 was raced four times and won a prize every time. An achievement that was further underlined by his speed in the sprint flight in Noyon, where he achieved a handsome 9 / 1340.
“BE 24-6095209” comes from the “Super 473” (BE 22 – 6031511), a strong new breeding cock that was raced as a widower this year, but now moves to the breeding loft for good. His palmares shows that he knows how to place himself well on various flights:

The mother of “209” is “BE 19-6240713”, a daughter of “Daughter Torre 473”, which gives the pigeon a strong foundation.

Performance of “220”
The second signed pigeon, “BE 24-6095220”, also proved to be a valuable player. This pigeon won a prize on four of the five national flights. During one flight it was decided not to enter her as second signed, but she still flew a beautiful 365 / 16.892 with 2.16% that day, a performance that was definitely worth showing. Her origins still need to be investigated further, but her consistency in the game shows that she has earned her place within the team.

The Future
All in all, Arne and Nick look back with satisfaction on a great season, which gives them a lot of motivation to further expand the successes. The solid base of young pigeons from the strain of Johan De Belser offers great prospects for the future. The 209 and the 220 are now moving to father Johan, where they will be raced further next year. There is a lot of confidence that these pigeons will continue to excel in their second year and can continue the strong season.
